GENERSYS have done much to push forward the technology and design of solar panels in their years of manufacturing solar thermal systems.
This year they introduced the World's First vacuum flat plate solar panel, combing the aesthetics and structural integrity of a glazed solar panel with the performance gains of vacuum. Remarkable stuff.
The solar panel we advocate however, is the 1000-10, the flat plate solar panel from GENERSYS. Designed to scale from 1 panel to rows of 10 panels, the 1000-10 can suit any job, meaning that you can quote for any job using the one panel.
If you'd like to know more about installing or distributing GENERSYS solar panels in South Africa then get in touch. Demand for reliable renewable energy is growing and GENERSYS solar panels are amongst the best in the world for the job. |

The GENERSYS 1000-10 Solar Panel fact sheet: |
|
| |
20 Year Warranty |
Solar panel and performance warranty direct from the manufacturer. |
|
| |
Construction |
The solar panel tray is made from a single sheet of Aluminum using a pressing technique, meaning no welds and maximum strength. |
|
| |
Solar panel glazing |
The GENERSYS 1000-10 uses 4mm thick reinforced safety glass, certified safe for hail stone, snow and other extreme conditions. |
|
| |
Absorber surface |
Unique to the GENERSYS solar panels, the absorber surfaces under the glazing are coated in a microscopic surface to increase the potential of light captured. This special process, developed in their state of the art facilities in Germany have allowed GENERSYS to produce a highly efficient solar panel. |
|
| |
Low carbon footprint |
The manufacturing process of the GENERSYS solar panel has been designed to produce a low carbon footprint. During the manufacture of a GENERSYS solar panel only 46kg of Carbon Dioxide is produced, allowing the solar panel to achieve an 18 month CO2 payback. This figure is based on an average system in the UK and would be even less in the sunnier climates of South Africa. |
|
| |
Payback |
GENERSYS solar panels are designed with payback in mind. For solar pool heating payback can be as little as 18 months while domestic solar water heating systems in the UK have been typically 4 to 6 years. We estimate that GENERSYS systems will achieve a 4 year payback for domestic installations, and shorter for pools or larger installations. |
|
| |
Applications |
Homes, swimming pools, offices, appartments, schools, hosptials and sports stadiums are all customers of GENERSYS solar panels. In South Africa we expect large homes, hotels and local authorities to make the most of the GENERSYS solar panel system. |
|
| |
Grants |
The GENERSYS solar panel is Solar Keymark accredited and qualifies for local grants from South Africa. |
|
| |
Arrays |
The GENERSYS 1000-10 solar panel scales from 1 panel installations (although we recommend 2 panel minimum), up to an unlimited array of 10 panel rows. |
|
| |
Installation |
Full documentation is available, and installation takes typically between 1-2 days depending on your experience. GENERSYS recommend a full site survey and provide a Solar Site Survey form, available on our website for estimating and assessing your client's needs. GENERSYS also provide a large number of frames for fastening the solar panel on-roof and 'flashing kits' for integrating their solar panels in-roof. |
